We first visited the island in 2004 and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere; the lovely Thai people always smiling and happy, the relaxed and carefree lifestyle and a constant year round temperature averaging around 30degrees. We bought a piece of land in a quiet spot on the West coast in a village called Lipa Noi and decided to build our own villa in paradise. Lipa Noi is a beautiful spot on Koh Samui ideally suited to families, with a gently shelving beach making it very safe for children and grown-ups alike .On our doorstep the idyllic palm fringed beach makes our villa the perfect place to come to relax and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful surroundings, where at night all you hear are the natural voices of a tropical night. The local beach or relaxing on our loungers on the veranda, provide the perfect place to view the fabulous sunsets; the area being well renowned for being the best place on the island to enjoy them. Although our property is in a very quiet area, all the facilities you could need are just short distances away. Nathon is only two kilometers away offering in addition to the normal tourist shops, pharmacies, a main post office, travel and tour agencies and restaurants. Located in Nathon is the ferry terminal to the mainland and numerous boats waiting to take you on the many day trips, such as the spectacular Anthong National Marine Park for wonderful scenery, kayaking, snorkeling or sub aqua - one trip not to be missed. Our villa is also close to the main ring road of Koh Samui providing easy access to the livelier tourist areas of Chaweng and Lamai.
Set within a walled enclosure with one other similar styled property, but with the wall being low enough to enjoy panoramic views across the palm trees and water buffalo towards the sea. The large swimming pool is shared between the two properties, but only if there are people staying at the other house. Our villa is new and modern but built in Traditional Thai style.
