How to get to Koh Samui

Getting to and from Koh Samui has never been easier or more pleasurable.  Bangkok Airways has between 15 – 20 flights per day depending on the day of the week, to take you straight from Bangkok to Koh Samui; the flight takes about one hour and 10 minutes.   Flights are also available with Bangkok Airways to Koh Samui from Phuket, Pattaya, Krabi and Singapore.  From the minute you arrive at Koh Samui airport, which must rate in charm and floral splendor as amongst the finest in the world, you will be caught in the magic of the island.

If you prefer, another great way to travel is the night train from Bangkok railway station to Suratthani.  From Surattani  Koh Samui is a short ferry trip away taking you straight to Nathon and only 2km from our villa.  Alternatively a ferry from Don Sak, a small village on the mainland near Surattani, will take you directly to the ferry port in Lipa Noi.

If you want a more economical way to travel, you could take the bus from the southern bus terminal at Boromrat Chonnani Road in Bangkok.  Tickets can be bought in any of the travel agencies and the ferry is often included.
